As you may be aware, the National Union of Teachers are intending to take strike action on Tuesday 5th July 2016. Members of academy staff recognise the importance of delivering teaching and learning and no one has taken the decision to support the strike lightly.

No students are to be sent to the academy that day, as there will be no provision available to look after them. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
After discussions with staff and careful consideration of all possible options, the academy will be closed to all students on Tuesday 5th July 2016.
