Is UAE South Bank going to close?

UAE South Bank is closed from 20 March 2020 for most students. Children of key workers, children with Education and Health Care Plans and vulnerable children will be able to attend a programme supervised activities in school through the closure period. We will be communicating with parents to establish if their children are eligible for this programme.

Are all your events including Enrichment still going ahead?

No, we will not be running events until further notice.

What measures are in place to try to protect people in your school from the virus?

We have reviewed our cleaning schedule and the products used, to ensure that we have a high level of service and disinfection. We are monitoring soap and sanitiser dispensers to ensure these are well stocked for effective hand washing. We also have hand sanitiser points available at key points across the school.

To help students, staff and visitors we have posters around the school giving advice on what do to if there are any concerns as well as posters showing effective hand washing at all our hand basins.

How can I protect myself from Coronavirus?

We can all play our part. To protect yourself and others, basic hygiene such as washing our hands regularly and using tissues when we cough and sneeze is the best way to slow the spread of germs and infection. Posters are around our school giving advice on hand washing and good hygiene for staff, students and visitors.
